First time I used Public Storage was when I needed to store my things over the summer break. They took my storage container before the agreed time and I had one of the most stressful times of my life since my flight's at 1:30 and they told me they couldn't return the container to me until the next day. When I needed my stuff back, it was another nightmare. I understand that they're busy with all the students returning to school and demanding their stuff back but they kept delaying my pick-up time by a day for two weeks.
Pros: It's a name I recognize...great service...until they have your money
Cons: Stolen boxes, delayed delivery, weird hours that make picking up stuff a big hassle
