My wife and I were out on Front St. on a Sunday night and decided to go have dinner here because we had a coupon the we got from our Entertainment Book. We were sat around 8:15 and probably finished dinner around 9:15. My wife came no where close to finishing her dinner. She probably didn't even eat 1/3 of her $27 dollar pasta. Well the server assistant noticed that she had not finished and came over and asked her if she wanted a box. We both replied yes and he said he would be right back. Meanwhile the server came over and gave us our tab and we took care of that while waiting for our leftovers to return. We waited about 5 minutes and then asked the server where our boxed food went. Apparently there was some "misunderstanding" because the server assistant threw the food away. The we asked the server if we could talk to the manager because it seemed like the server was not going to do anything for us. Well she said that she was the manager, and since the kitchen was closed, and our credit card had been run there was nothing she could do about it. She also felt it necessary to tell us that she has to "stand by her employees" when they make mistakes. We obviously didn't not leave a tip for this girl since she was extra rude. Well it turns out she has now added a 10 dollar tip for herself as well. I have worked as an assistant manager at a restaurant for several years and have never used this tactic. We have tried to call back several times to talk to the owner since it also turns out this girl is the the general manager. The owner either doesn't care, or his employees do not deliver him the messages. I guess he will get the message when he hears from our bank. At this point it is not even about the money, but I just want to get the word out that this place is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever been to. I wish I would have seen all the bad reviews on other sites before we went. There are plenty of better places to go so stay away!!!!!
