I recently visited Sevilla with a girlfriend. We had a great time! What a little culinary gem this is in Long Beach. I have been living in Long Beach for about a year now and usually I avoid Pine ave.(It seems kindof trashy at times.) Well I was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and livelihood of the place. We showed early so we had some drinks and tapas while we waited for the dinner show doors to open. We were served by Nilton, who was very friendy and personable. The chicken ajillo and sangarita are TO DIE FOR!
Next we attended the Flamenco dinner show. Though it is on the pricey side, it is well worth it. I was pleased by the extensive wine list. The dancers were absolutely captivating and our server Jaimey was very sweet and timely. Food was great and we were very full.
We were stuffed and ready to go home. Then the bartender Caroline i think invited us to stay for the nightclub free of charge. I have to admit, I'm not a fan of clubbing, but we were having such a great time we decided to check it out.
We danced the night away like teens! The music was energetic and i felt like I was In Las Vegas! Caroline remembered us and promptly served us our drinks and water bottles all night although she was VERY busy and the bar was super crowded. It is rare to get that kind of service in a busy nightclub.
I am genuinely surprised to see any negative reviews for this place. Judging by the Grammar and choice in drinks (adios) the person underneath me must be an amateur. This is NOT Tijuana kind of place for college party crowds looking to get trashed. This is a high end place for those who aren't afraid to spend money and have a great time.
Pros: great service food and music
Cons: the area has lots of transients and bums
