Like it says in the comment below it seems to be more of a sushi-club but that's okay if you want a little more excitement than a menu. The last happy hour I went to had a mix of the standard anti-social scottsdale clones and some normal friendly people...so I'm grateful to even have that considering the area. The rolls and calimari are good...pass on the sushi and sashimi...not the freshest or the tastiest. The music can be a little too loud so you'll have to raise your voice to have a conversation depending on where you sit. Service isn't amazing...like what you'd expect at a busy scottsdale bar/club. Sakanas in scotts has much better food and prices but the last time I went there kids were running around the place like a mcdonalds playland. So what are your options really?
Pros: Cool atmoshpere, decent happy hour.
Cons: Sushi/Sashimi is suspect, gotta talk over the music sometimes
