I have taken my cat to Brykerwood several times and have always had adequate service. My cat has never come to any harm while in their care and they have always fixed my cat up when she was sick. I have decided to stop going to Brykerwood for several different reasons. For one, the place is very dirty, and it seems like they have not cleaned in a long time. Secondly, I feel they could communicate better. They kept my cat overnight to decide if she needed dental surgery or not, I was told that they would call me if she needed surgery or not. The next day they never called and started the surgery without telling me; and I had to call several times before anyone knew what was happening with my cat. Lastly, the desk service is lacking. While in the waiting room I overheard one of the desk ladies admonishing the other because she had told a client to bring in their dog at a late hour because the dog was sick. She said ""I wouldn't recommend telling clients to bring in their pets this late in the day with such few staff. They should have brought their dog in yesterday when they knew their dog was sick."" I just found their attitude really disheartening, since I feel the whole point of a vet is to help sick animals.
