Will I step foot in Asado again? Probably not. Poor experience right from the start - we didn't even stay to eat, so I can't say anything about the food. The place was practically empty beginning at 5:00pm on a Saturday night. My lady and I entered and were not welcomed by the judgmental hostess up front. She seemed very annoyed that we had not made reservations. There were only two of us and we could see that at least 20-30 tables were open and available. She made it clear that hanging my jacket (sorry, I didn't wear my blazer) on the back of the chair wasn't okay - she obviously didn't take into account her own attire prior to commenting about my jacket. We took a look at the menu and the descriptions seemed unique. I don't doubt that the food might be good, but within minutes, the hostess chose to seat another couple at the table not more than 1 foot away. How unnecessary - honestly, there were so many tables still open. She did not need to do that. I almost introduced myself to that couple because we were basically sitting with them anyways. Yet another bad move by the hostess who clearly did not want our service that evening. After seeing that my girlfriend was somewhat annoyed with our circumstance, we left Asado. After all, it was her birthday and I only wanted the best experience possible for her that evening, which the hostess definitely failed to provide. Our night got much better after departing - thanks Asado. I mean, no thanks.
