After owning homes for 11 years, I found myself renting and had no idea what a terrible experience it would be. Homepointe has by far the most rude and untruthful employees I have ever seen. I own my own business and would never allow any one of my employees to speak to clients the way these ""professionals"" do. They never follow up on faxes, phone calls or e-mails. They tried to cover up their mistakes by blaming someone else in their office, they claimed I checked off a box denying my income history when I did no such thing. I kept all my paperwork and faxes and documented all my conversations, faxes, e-mails, etc. and the credit manager openly lied and denied any wrongdoing. I cannot imagine renting with these people long term. I definitely will not be doing business with them and I do not recommend anyone else doing any kind of business with them until they have capable and fully knownledgable people who also have excellent customer service skills.
