Valerie's cakes have won Blue Ribbons at the Michigan State Fair for not only her batters (cause they taste so good), but also for her decorating (they look good too). They don't stick to just one motto, Simple but Elegant is #1 on the motto list, but Valerie and her staff can create whatever you can think of. ""The only thing limiting you on what you get on your cakes"", they say, ""is your imagination and your budget"". If you stop by the store, you can usually pick up some samples. Rivaling some of the designs seen on TV, only not costing an arm and a leg, the staff can create just about anything. Keeping it simple for those last minute orders, to a ""special"" or ""Over the Top"" orders is where they shine. Everything there is made fresh. The cakes are always moist and the icings are made from scratch. No buckets of frosting, no frozen cakes. Only fresh made products. Have allergies?
