I had heard mixed reviews on the food here, so when a friend suggested it, I was reluctant to go. But boy am I glad I did. We were seated quickly, but that may have been because it was late on a Monday night. These guys are packed on the weekends. Our server was friendly and helpful. She brought us samples of soup and beer to help us choose what we wanted, she never rushed us to order, even though this meant that she had to return a few times. She also answered all of our questions with a good knowledge of what she was serving. I ordered a cup of the mushroom soup and breadsticks. My friend ordered the potato soup. Normally I despise mushroom soup, but this stuff was so delicious and addicting. It was a dark creamy color with chunks of mushroom, and very complimentary seasonings. This was definitely not food service soup. When the server brought out our soups, the cup was actually the size of a bowl. The breadsticks were so-so, but there is the option of sauces with them. The server was very friendly and prompt in her service. She seemed to love her job, and that was reflected in the way she dealt with customers.
