I chose Canyon based on the reviews on here....sheep leading sheep is my only conclusion. It's not anyone on heres fault; you trust someone with so many plaques all over the walls, but when a amateur mistake is found, I dare you to confront Lee with it. Lee insulted my GF saying that she ""must not know a lot about cars."" Truth is my GF is the daughter of a mechanic! She knows more than most men! (I should have consulted her first) Long story short I was sold the moon, expensive parts that don't belong on a 13 year old car. Why change struts($225 ea) and not change strut mounts, spring seats etc...while you have the wheels off? Only explanation is to charge more labor next time to take the wheels and struts back off. It doesn't take a genius to realize the mounts were bad the first time....after all Lee is a ""Master Mechanic."" Beware, ask for an itemized list before you agree to service.......I was taken for a $2400 ride. Same selling point as other post.....you'll get a couple of more years out her (car). My struts are making the same noise as when I brought ""her"" in. I hope that all I really needed was not just strut mounts. Look closely at your bill and you may find a bit of gouging.\r

UPDATE 4/24/08---I took my car to another mechanic to find out why my strut is still making noise. Canyon put it on backwards (don't even know how that is possible) and was blown already after 1 month. My alignment was 1 degree off! And the mechanic confirmed that earlier work that was done to my car ($1400) was overkill and most likely unnecessary. Why would someone need a whole new front end/suspension on a 13 year old car with no accidents. I can't believe I trusted this guy. Once again...be careful there are certain scenarios/situations that this guy will take advantage of, particularly on older cars. Lee did reimburse me for the blown strut and told me to come in sometime for a free oil change. Thanks buddy but I think I'll have my girlfriend do it for me!
Pros: Shiny apple
Cons: Questionable core
