i don't know when thebakes visited vision lanes, but i have always found the staff to be friendly and efficient. the music is always age-appropriate, with a lot of familiar songs by disney channel artists during the youth leagues. my kids have bowled there for years - and with the change in ownership a few years ago, there have been many updates. we especially enjoy the new family hangout area, 'gamesters', because it is a smoke-free, alcohol-free environment with games and ice cream. it is a family owned establishment, and the owner is quite mindful of the atmosphere - considering his family (including his three daughters) spends much of their time there. the prices are competitive,(you can't beat $7 for four hours of bowling), and they have live music on the weekends. i would definitely recommend vision lanes for any birthday or other occasion! you should go and see for yourself.
