This place is a half-ass attempt at being a fancy car dealership. I'm originally from Southern California, and it seems like Crevier is the only place to go. I moved up here 4 years ago and this was the first time I brought my X5 in for service at this dealership (I usually take it to Crevier when I drive down there for the weekend). First of all, checking in was fairly simple. You stand at the podium, give the lady your name, take a seat. Fair enough. What I didn't expect, was to sit there for almost 40 minutes. I just needed to do an oil change, I had no other requests. I had to sit in the shabby lounge listening to horrible morning news, drinking what seemed like burnt coffee. When it was my turn to talk to the advisor, Chris A., he seemed rushed and didn't care what was going on. Our conversation lasted for about ten minutes and was ushered out of my seat. I then had to cram into a black minivan (their shuttle service) and was dropped off downtown. I didn't hear from Chris all day - I didn't expect to as I only had an oil change done. When I came back at 5:30pm to get the car, there was a list of recommendations by the tech on what should be down. WTF? If there were all these recommendations, he should've called me and let me know 'cause I would've authorized some of the repairs to get them out of the way. I guess that's an upsale this dealership won't be getting from me anytime soon. Kiss my butt, and car, goodbye BMW of San Francisco! I'm headed to a dealer that accepts the mighty AmEx more
