My husband and I have tryed about every indian restaurant in Denver and enjoy doing so. Our experiance here was a horrible one. I will start with the reason for the one star and not zero. My husband enjoyed the lamb he had so-so. Also the papadam was okay not the best but edible. Aside from those two things we were highly disappointed. First off I ordered the vegetarian sampler. They brought me the wrong one with meat and other things I didn't want. Which I could live with except everything on it tasted over fryed and tastless. Then came the dal soup. I have never had a bad experience with this soup. It was over cooked and under seasoned. It tasted even more bland than split pea soup which is generally very bland as it is. We also ordered naan bread, somehow this was cold and burnt. The rice was unseasoned and cold. Every other time I have had it its seasoned with cardamom, cloves, saffron, ect. This nothing just plain basmatti rice. And the meal my husband ordered was so small we had no left overs. ( usually every restaurant we go to there are leftovers, we're small eaters.) And all this tastless food for the price of $30, (no drinks) which there was also a mix up on what we were expected to pay. Maybe to some it is enjoyable but we will never give it another shot.
Pros: empty so get right in on a saturday night
Cons: food, ambience, value
