City Paint&Supply Co has to have the most rude, unhelpful employees I have ever encountered. I came in to get paint samples and there was one other customer there that was picking out paint and six, yes six male employees in the front room. None of them asked me if I need help, I had to go up to one of them to ask and when I did they made me feel stupid. I needed a paint sample for work and had the product # and they pointed to the wall of paint. After I couldn't find it, I had to go back over and ask and the same man rudely came over and told me ""It has to be made"" LIKE I SHOULD KNOW THIS!!! The men behind the counter were so rude that after asking one question I decided it wasn't worth my time or aggravation to try to pry out of them any information I might need. If you need ANY help what so ever w/ paint colors or anything for that matter I would strongly suggest to avoid this store. If you are looking for Benjamin Moore samples/products Johnson's on Newbury St has a wonderful, friendly staff that are more than willing to help, they even will take your order over the phone and run it out to you if you can't find parking. It's worth the extra ride. Sorry, City Paint &Supply Co but try to get some employees that are willing to help us patrons. I mean, I'm not asking for you to smile but just answer my simple questions w/out making me feel stupid...NEW FLASH...I don't work at a paint supply store and if you didn't either you'd probably be asking the same questions...i.e, what finish usually do people use on ceilings, etc. I would NEVER treat anyone like the way they treated me and I will be sure to tell everyone I know what a horrible experiance I had because no one should be made to feel stupid esp when paying for YOUR STORES service& products...NEVER
Pros: GREAT SELECTION OF BENJAMIN MOORE PAINT BUT YOU CAN GET SAME SELECTION AT OTHERS STORE IN & AROUND AREA
Cons: RUDE, UNHELPFUL, MEAN, LAZY, HORRIBLE STAFF
