Lack of knowlege on sales floor and high prices! 3/30/2008

I bought a bike from there, a Suzuki GSXR 1000, on the fact that they said that there were 3 modes, A - ""Like a 1000"" B - ""Like a 750"" or C - ""Like a 600"". Being my first bike, I believed everything they said and bought it. They gave me false information, and the modes actually refer to the throttle response being tuned down. They didn't offer a test drive around the parking lot or anything of the sort. I called them back and they gave me a bit of a hard time about me giving the bike back, WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RECEIVING THE BIKE!! The bike was entirely too powerful for a beginner, and I was told that it was fine. They took it back and i traded for a Suzuki Boulevard S50. The MSRP on the Boulevard was $6499, they hustled me out the door with the GAP insurance, extended warranty, Lo-Jack, pre-paid maintenance, only telling me as I was rushing through the paperwork because they said they were closing. I ended up paying a total of $11k out the door!!! They charged me $8400 for the bike. Bad knowledge on the sales floor, only out for your money and not for you or your safety! F- is the best grade i could rate this place as a whole, for sure. I do have to add, though, my salesman was very nice to me and worked hard to get payments down, but when the first bike was brought back, I didn't feel very comfortable going back in there (as far as the rest of the sales team was concerned). Pros: Will work for you, as long as you pay a good amount, salesman was nice Cons: More concerned about sales than safety for the rider, add ons thrown in, confusing more
