3 friends and i went to south beach last year for a week on vacation during august. i decided to make reservations at Barton G because I had heard some about it (we live in NYC). we sat in the garden. i had the speared blackened shrimp which came on an actual spear with cauliflower mash and a honey corn popover. delish. among my friends were steak and ravioli which came in a beach setting. for dessert we had the sabrina sundae which was MASSIVE (and i can eat so trust me i'm not just saying massive) with brownies, chocolate, vanilla and strawberry ice cream, chocolate shavings, whipped cream and cherries. tremendous.
Pros: funky delicious food, crazy desserts!
Cons: fondue wasn't terrific
