My abusive husband was ordered to attend a batterers intervention program through Northland. During the course of treatment the center chose to assist my husband with new ways to abuse me. The probation office and program administrator assisted my husband with using the court system to obtain an exparte and child protection order against me. Knowing the basis of claim was fraudulent. The owner also refused to discuss my concerns with the treatment offered and behavior of the counselor. The program is taylored to income only results not behavior changing results. The company continues to operate at the discretion of the courts where it is impossible to have your complaints heard. Please avoid this facilty if at all possible. It almost cost me everything I had.
Cons: The service and under educated staff operating the program.
