I just happen to stumble across this area to write a review and had to take the opportunity to praise Dr. Barry Bass. I was referred to him after having a colonoscopy in Nov. '07. Just a few minutes after meeting and visiting with him, I felt so at peace and knew that I had been referred to the right doctor.\r

He has such a great bedside manner and put me at ease immediately! He explained what had to be done and was very patient with my ignorance of the questions I asked. I had to have a colon resection and breezed right through that without any problem although I ended up with complications from other things unrelated to my surgery.\r

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Bass. He literally saved my life and I will be FOREVER grateful to him!!! I lost my husband, the love of my life almost 3 years ago and didn't much care whether or not I made it through the surgery and thought with all the other medical problems I have that I wouldn't leave the hospital alive. Dr. Bass gave me a new lease on life. My whole attitude has changed for the better and I am so thankful each morning when I awake that I have family and great friends that I love and I want to stick around for a bit longer!.\r

His staff is as crazy about him as I am. Every time I spoke to them, they were singing his praises and they were absolutely right! His staff, Janice, Misty and Becky are wonderful!! They all made me feel as if I was their only focus whether I was in the office or on the telephone. They are all great!!\r
