The Hickory Inn is a favorite destination of mine when I'm traveling through Springfield, Dayton, or Columbus (it's worth the drive!). The food is delicious, the atmosphere is intimate, unique, and friendly, and the service is always gracious. I recommend the pizza, ribs, but most of all the fillet mignon--it literally melts in your mouth (and is sooo much better than any chain steakhouse). Springfield residents are lucky to have such a wonderful all-around restaurant in their city.
