My wife and I were in a rush to find an animal hospital that could surgically fix our Min Pins Leg that he had just broken by accidentally falling off the bed. They reassured us that surgery would be no problem and our 6 month old pup would be running around again before we knew it. When we got the call to inform us that the surgery went great but the dog had heart failure and died, we were in shock. This wasn't part our thoughts or fears at all. We understand it happens to pets and people under anaesthesia, but not our 5 pound puppy. We recieved word that County never called our regular vet to get medical history or medications currently on. And we feel they neglected to properly asses him for his ability to be put under. We are deeply hurt and want to caution everyone to research hospitals first and ask a lot of questions along the way.
