i created an account to tell the world that this restaurant rocks. the food is good, the people are great, and the atmosphere is superb. but ultimately, it's more than the sum of its parts.\r

i've been going here for most of this decade now. after so many visits, you feel like you're going to a close friend's place, or maybe family. the atmosphere rules. the music will have you nodding your head and making various facial expressions of pleasure. the lovely cast of characters who tend to you will become known and loved over time. the food is excellent. i recommend the santeed mashrooms (their spelling). also of note is the mongolian chicken, which is wonderfully flavored with just the right amount of spice. the beef and broccoli, in combination with the fried rice, is a personal favorite and a staple of every visit.\r

put simply, this place rocks. it has always rocked. and as long as they don't ruin the business, it will continue to rock. it has literally become the default restaurant when my friend and i can't think of anywhere to go eat.\r

asia chinese restaurant. it always wins.\r

p.s. - they used to have a soft-serve ice cream machine, but now they have a purity ice cream stand where you pick a flavor and scoop it out yourself. the variety of flavors is nice, but i always liked soft-serve better.
Pros: it's asia, it's chinese, it's asia chinese.
Cons: you can't live there and eat it whenever you want.
