brought my dog there for a physical to qualify for insurance. first time and last time i will go there. here's why.\r
\r
the vet tried to convince me to buy 3 medications for one minor condition i particularly remember how she pushed for a package of medications when i told her he had diarrhea-(don't all dogs get it? and don't their bodies regulate themselves?) anyhow she convinced me that he might have jardia (spell?) so i bought two for that. then she lobbied me to buy some medication to soothe his stomach! i could see the cash register going cha ching cha ching. so we finish, i go out to the front counter to pick up the medications, and i'm thinking i might drop the stomach soothing one--but there is dr. crabtree, pretending to look at some chart while over her shoulder, she watches to make sure I pay and pick up ALL 3. overall, i felt shoved and pickpocketed so to speak. granted, i'm very sensitive about pushy, aggressive women - just being candid. but i'm telling you, she sold me 3 medications for one minor problem!!\r
Since her style is blunt and abrasive, if you put the two together--well, you make the call. one thing is for sure- you won't see me there!
Pros: near my house in milpitas
Cons: pushy, overselling unnecessary medications
