This is a place that should go down in history. It has been around I think since the 1930's. The food isnt great, but it is good home cooked style and reasonably priced. I had a business on Empire Boulevard and we went to Toomey's almost everyday. Clam Chowder, poor man's lox, onions and eggs and outstanding hamburgers. I would highly recommend this place for a visit.
Pros: outstanding hamburgers
Cons: lousy neighborhood
