We went there on a Sunday morning around 10:30 and it wasn't too crowded yet. But by 11:00 the place was filled (AND it was raining). When I imagine Melrose restaurants, they all seem to be the same. So when we drove into the neighborhood I was skeptical. I honestly wanted to go someplace else. Blu Jam was such a nice surprise. The inside was quiet and calm-a nice relaxing atmosphere for a Sunday morning. We sat near the back and had a pleasant experience from the hostess to the waiter, to the nice gentleman that opened the door for us on our way out as he thanked us for coming in (possibly the owner?) My cappuccino was delicious and the Quesadilla with salmon, capers, and brie was very nice. We also had the Blu Jam benedict which was tasty as well. It was a complete package-good service, nice atmosphere and good food. You can't beat that.
