Do not buy a home from Prairie Homes! They take no responsibility for the product they build. We bought a new house from them in 2007. Since then, we have spent the past 10 months fighting with them to fulfill their home warranty. Chunks of carpet is coming up in the living room, the kitchen floor has a defect right in the middle of the floor, paint is peeling from the outside trim of the house, the siding trim is bubbling, etc...\r
They refuse to fix any of the problems and pass the blame onto someone else, saying ""we no longer work with that company"". The do not return phone calls, they have not fixed 1 thing on any of our walk-though lists, and they won't even give you a straight answer as to why. This company's inability to accept responsibility is laughable. I do not recommend Prairie Homes to anyone! Stay far far away!\r
