I look foward to my Tuesdays and Thursdays because of not only the wonderful instructors, but also the other students! Pilates Body provides a great, welcoming environment for toning all the muscles! The positive energy and patient instructors really understand you don't want to push yourself too hard because it can only lead to chronic injuries. But at the same time, they make sure you are properly utilizing the right muscles for each exercise. Instructor teaching styles vary from westcoast, eastcoast, classical, and even a San Francisco style Pilates! Typical weight training seems to tighten and shorten muscles while pilates, on the other hand, lengthens my muscles and increases flexibility. They offer mat, reformer, springboard, BOSU, and jumpboard classes which all make the curriculum exciting and new for an extremely affordable price! There's even a cute boutique inside where you can not only purchase work out clothes but also comfortable and cute street wear. Can't say enough about this studio!
