We are new to the area; we used to go to a different sushi restaurant every week back in LA, but there aren't many here:(. Anyway, this is the first Japanese restaurant we have tried in the triangle area. I was pleasantly surprised. Their rolls are not bad! Certainly not even close to the best sushi I had, but it is better than 'some' sushi restaurants in LA. I think people who are complaining about cold rolls don't know that the rolls are not supposed to be served warm?! Many Japanese restaurants nowadays serve warm rolls (because they call them fusion), but sushi is not served warm traditionally. Also, the price was actually pretty good as a Japanese restaurant. The service was quite slow, but it's something to be expected because they only have one sushi chef. It would be bad when they start letting untrained cook make sushi! I have also heard people complaining about sushi chefs not being Japanese. I was like that until I discovered that many best japanese restaurants I've been to in LA were run by Koreans. We would definitely go back. Meanwhile, please keep us updated about good sushi restaurants in the triangle!
Pros: Nice ambience, nice people, good food, good price.
Cons: Slow.. rolls are kind of ordinary (tasty though)
