Well I figured I would try this place out based on the other rave reviews. Not a good idea! It is a sub-par restaurant with overpriced food. To begin with, the house margaritas are boasted that they are made with their own concoction of sweet and sour mix. Well whoever made ours must have forgot the sweet part because it was like sucking on a lemon. They were way to sour - thank goodness for the salt on the rim, that is the only way I made it through the whole thing at a cost of $7. Now onto the food. The chips and salsa appetizer came with about 3 teaspoons of salsa, and I can get better salsa at an authentic mexican restaurant for free. The cheese and potato enchiladas were decent, but nothing to rave about. And again, they came with about 3 teaspoons of unflavorful beans, and no flavor rice. If I am going to pay $15 for an entree, I expect there to be something on the plate to eat! So I wish I had something good to say about the service, but that was horrible too. Every time we needed something at our table we had to literally flag our server down. And to boot, there were only 3 tables in the WHOLE restaurant. He was oblivious and unexperienced! Another negative, as if we need more, were the bathrooms. The womens bathroom mirrored looked as if it had not been cleaned in 2 weeks. It was covered with water marks and streaks from where someone did a half-ass job of trying to clean it. The vanity also was filthy and it was obvious they do not do hourly bathroom checks at this joint! The last kicker of the whole experience was the disgusting sewer smell that kept wafting by our table every time the kitchen door opened. Oh that too- the whole restaurant is empty and they choose to put us at a booth 5 feet from the kitchen door.\r
This place will not stay in business! Dont waste your time or money going there! We could of had better food, drinks and service at half the price next door at Champps.
Cons: Too many too list!
