This is one of the few remaining independently owned nurseries in the area. The staff is helpful and if they don't have a plant, they can order it for you from a wholesaler. I particularly like their California native plant section and the expertise of Wanda Olsen, who knows her natives and her non-natives really well. Can't get this kind of expertise at OSH or Home Depot.
Pros: not a chain nursery; knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices
Cons: used to carry Annie's Annuals but no longer
