I picked up one of those car sale ad books at a restaurant yesterday and saw a top of the line 2002 Explorer that was in my price range. I called the used car department and wanted some information about it. The guy whom I spoke to had a yes for everything ""clear CarFax report, features, etc"". He seemed suspicious to me, but said that he would see my husband and I out there to look at the car. About an hour later I called Munday back to check on the car. The new person I spoke to did not know anything about the car he said, he also told me that it was sold. I told him that the other guy said it was ready for us to come look at, he seemed puzzled. He offered me a Trailblazer that had less miles. I asked him how much? and he wanted 10, 500.00 He said he could go down to 10k and I said NO! I am not paying that much for an old SUV. I said that I would keep looking.
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: They lie about having cars and play on your emotions, also try and rip you off
