Went to Jasper's for Valentine's Day and sat at the bar, since we didn't have reservations. Had to wait at the bar for seats to become available. We thought the special menu for Valentine's only applied to outside seating but when we asked for the full menu, like the reception desk had suggested, we were only given the holiday menu. Service at the bar was poor, I have had more attentive serivce at Denny's. We felt roped in and ripped off as the Barmaid proceeded to steer us away from what we wanted and instead we ended up spending far more than we wanted. The food was fair, not impressive. The door to the outside kept being left open which was not comfortable and we had to keep asking for it to be closed. We also had to keep asking for beverages to be refilled after considerable effort to get the bar staff's attention. Money is better spent elsewhere for better taste, service and environment.
