Very disappointing meal to say the least ? after reading many great reviews for this restaurant I was very excited to try it. My husband and I went on Valentines night and it was a disaster. I always order salmon and decided to try the Ginger crusted and roasted salmon with almonds, tamari, scallions & honey, lemongrass pesto, served with cool beet salad & basmati rice amandine. Well what a farce ? the pesto was so over whelming that I put it on the side of the plate and just concentrated on my salmon. Unfortunately, after a couple of bites something seemed wrong ? it is so dark in there that I had to put the votive candle onto my plate to see my food ? my salmon was almost raw! I sent it back and the waitress said that the chef always cooks it medium ? this was not medium it was raw and tasteless. The worst was to come, my husband ordered New York Strip Char grilled with Gorgonzola, Merlot & roasted garlic compound butter, house mashed potatoes & asparagus. Umm wonder what happed to the Gorgonzola and the compound butter because there was neither on his plate ? but the absolute worst in ANY restaurant I have ever eaten in was the asparagus ? It seemed that it has somehow been grilled a long time ago ? old and the asparagus had BLOOMED the ends of three of them where brown! It was disgusting ? after me sending my meal back, we just wanted to get out of there. Service was adequate, only asked about another drink when my meal came ? not good, not good at all and it makes me sick to think of that asparagus on that plate and what was going on in the kitchen to produce and let that type of food go out. I would NOT RECOMEND this restaurant!
