They have a nice store, but they need to leave the obedience training to the professionals. This ?PetSmart? group of people teach their students to bribe their dogs to do something by offering a food reward. All of the large pet food warehouses (I.E. PetSmart, Petco , or the Monks of New Skeet etc) sponsor this category of ineffective training because they feel it's politically correct. The problem with training in this manner is that the dogs often choose to not do what?s asked because there is a distraction more important than the food, or there is no food reward offered. These dogs end up being pushy, dominant and often antisocial aggressive animals. These are the dogs that are turned into animal shelters as being un-manageable when in fact they act the way they do as a result of ineffective dog training. These people are not professional trainers. They don?t have a working knowledge of dog psychology, nor the experience to justify what they do. The store is out to make money. They don?t care about all the ruined animals, and bewildered owners left in their wake.
Pros: Large selection of pet supplies
Cons: Non professional, ineffective dog training. Poor quality grooming
