After struggling with my weight, I had finally gotten it down to my goal after months and month of patience. I even waited a little longer to make sure I was staying at that weight because I have TONS of clothes that I love but, thankfully, just don't fit anymore!! I tried another alteration place here in Wichita (one which I will not name) that ruined my favorite jeans and 2 pair of pants. This really upset me after working so hard to get my weight down. I finally decided to try again because all of my clothes were dying of boredom in my closet. I took them to Alterations by Sarah after seeing that they specialize in alterations for people like me. I decided to try them out with a few things before I brought the ""motherload"" in. I first took 1 full suit and a pair of slacks and my previously ruined jeans. A younger blond girl was very sweet to me and it took her no time to pin me up (she said she had been doing this for 12 years). I told her about my jeans and she said they can't bring them back to the old length because the other place cut out so much fabric from the bottom, but she suggested making them into a pair of capris and fixing the waist where they took them in horribly. My clothes were ready fast and when I tried them on the following day everything fit wonderfully. I actually even liked my old jeans as capris!! I am super excited to find a nice and efficient alteration place and I totally recommend them and will take more clothes back now. Thanks Sarah!! I love my clothes again!!
Pros: Friendly and experienced staff, quick turnaround, great alterations
Cons: Could be cheaper, but I had a bad experience before - so I'd rather pay for quality
