We were in the neighborhood and decided to try this restaurant after reading the great review. It was a Saturday and we were the first customers of the evening. To begin with the restaurant was very chilly and we were told we needed to sit in the dining room rather than a smaller warmer room because ""they wanted to do some cleaning in there"". Prices were anywhere from $18-25 for entrees and specials. Salads were iceberg lettuce with some sad tomatoes with an Italian dressing that was pretty good. Garlic bread came out next which didn't have a hint of garlic taste to it...more like dipping oil drizzled onto the bread and lightly toasted. I got a breaded veal with a lemon sauce that was extremely watery. It was a good thing the table was tilted so that the veal could be pushed to a dry spot. The veal itself was good. My friend got a rolled veal that arrived as four lumps that were a little larger than a standard size marshmallow. This dish was $22. I commented that the portion seemed small. No response from our waitress. We both had pasta that was covered with a bland almost tasteless sauce. After we had finished the waitress came to the table and stated ""well it looks like you're ready to leave."" She had never came back to check on us or to ask if we would like anything else. She then stated, ""You know, his veal was the same size as your's except his was rolled"". This was quite unbelievable but we refrained from commenting further. We dine out quite frequently and have to say that we may have never been so disappointed and dissatisfied with a restaurant. I don't know if there are new owners since Oliver dined there but I would NEVER reccommend this restaurant to anyone ever!!!
