I took my dog to Mercy on a referral from a friend who didn't realize the doctor and staff were not the same as when he had boarded his dogs. The doctor was terribly rude when I dropped my dog off and when I came to pick him up, they asked me if I could come back in two hours so they could bathe him first. I came back in two hours and despite what the nurse had told me was two bathings, my dog smelled and his white coat was yellow. The nurse then tried to get me to wait for her to wash his blankets. I said not to worry, I would do it myself. When I got home and opened the plastic bag with my dog's two blankets in it, it reeked of urine and feces. I was mortified! The stench was so bad I nearly fainted. My (house trained) dog must have sat in a cage for days with NO attention whatsoever. I am heartbroken over what my dog must have endured. How can anyone claim to care about animals when they treat them like this. I will never, ever go back there again and I hope the health department sh
