My husband and I are trying to purchase a home and the selling bank (it's a foreclosure) chose McCalla Raymer to close the deal. The closing attorneys found out at least three weeks ago (could be as long as 6 weeks ago) that there is a lein on the title but chose not to tell us until the day of closing. Said they didn't want to alarm us. Had they told us and risked ""alarm"" we could have extended our lease. \r

Now we have to go live with relatives, pay to have our belongings in storage and our lives unsettled until we find something else to buy. It took us four months of house shopping to settle on this home and now we are homeLESS. \r

I sincerely hope I never meet anyone who works at this firm in person.
Pros: None.
Cons: Everything. Inconsiderate, shameless, thoughtless and inhumane.
