I adore the friendly atmosphere and simple, delicious fare here. The bubbly proprietress knows all the regulars (and not-so-regulars) by name and remembers their usual orders. The large menu offers everything from French toast to great sandwiches - my favorite is the Philly cheesesteak. The prices are totally reasonable for the substantial portions.\r

The decor is outdated, it's cash-only, and there's nothing fancy about the place at all. But sometimes you want just good American food with no fuss or marketing. It's great for kids, singles, families, etc.
