In the last 15 years I have been a Video Only customer...having purchased large screen TV, video camera, etc. over the years. So I headed there to purchase a large screen flat panel. They are often knowledgeable about the technology. I appreciated that. So when talking with the salesman, they encouraged me to check their product price online and every other place.... They guaranteed they would have the best price and promised to match it...and assured me it was the best price for factory authorised product. So during the next couple of days I looked around...and found the same model at Costo for $600 less than their price. (The salesmen actually encouraged me to look at Costco to compare.) So I showed them the price I found. They said they absolutely could not match it and would not match it. The manager got involved as well, and said the price was too good. I asked about what their guarantee meant. He had no answer. He said the salesman was new...though previously the salesman had said he had been with Video Only for some time.\r

This is an issue of integrity. If a company says they will match the price, they need to match the price. Otherwise it is used as an unbacked advertising gimmick.... As someone who was with me at the store said...people assume that if a company has a price guarantee they need not look for a better price and go with the assumption the price is the best. Alas, with Video Only this is not the case.\r

I left the store a ""former"" customer. I will not return, because I really do not trust their word or advertising. Prices both in some stores and online are often better...and they are not willing to back their words with action. Integrity is critical in long-term customer loyalty. Video Only lacks that.\r

Pros: The salesforce understands the technology
Cons: They lack integrity in their price guarantee...as others have reported in their reviews here.
