A friend had recommended ""Thyme Matters"" as a nice dining experience. When looking up the address, my wife and I noted the negative review posted in Citysearch last March of this year (2008). We were somewhat apprehensive after reading the negative review, but said ""what the heck, lets give it a go.""\r

Can't say enough good things about our meal. The waiter (Jorge) was very attentive and polite. The calamari as an appetizer, with a really delicious dipping sauce, set the stage for the corn roasted soup with chipotle. I expected a heavier dish and was pleasantly surprised when presented with a very delicate tasting soup.\r

I had the french dip prime rib sandwich which was very very good and my wife had the andouie and chicken pasta with cream sauce. She commented that it was very good.\r

We vreally enjoyed the atmosphere, lots of light and simple but elegant setting. We thought the price very reasonable. About $45 for the two opening dishes and two entrees, and around $20 for three glasses of wine.\r

I am not sure the lady who wrote the March 2008 review was in the same restaurant that we dined in during December of 2008. \r

We intend to be regulars.
