I had called the previous Saturday and obtained a reservation for 7:00 pm, emphasizing the date as Dec 6\r
Imagine my embarrassment when the hostess said there was no record of my reservation.\r
Fortunately it was early enough for us to be seated at an available table, but even the young man who seated us kept insisting there was no reservation. He spoke as if I was trying to get away with something (whatever happened to the ""customer is always right?"")\r

I would have chalked this up to a one-time error, but a friend was seated near me an hour later and had the same experience. Sadly they had to wait almost 1/2 hour for a table to open up, and they were not happy. Evidently the front end is not as efficient as it should be.\r

While the food is very good, the service is unprofessional: our open wine bottle was tipped over onto the table during serving and plates were continually presented to the wrong diner.\r

Because of all the negatives, the experience was less than satisfying and we would not go back. There are too many other good restaurants in the area that do not lose reservations and better train the wait staff .
