I am just about to take my dog in to veterinarian to have them take out 8 steel staples in my dogs forehead. We left our dog at Metro Dog over Thanksgiving and we received a call on Thanksgiving about a gash on his head. When we returned to sort this out they told us that 'they don't know what happened' and 'the dog just came in off the floor with this huge gash'. \r

They way they handled the whole incident was very insensitive and I caution others who are looking for a place to take their dog. I also think that people should check out other reviews of 'open wounds' See google maps reviews Lindsey F.'s comments on April 23 2008 ""We've been taking our dog here for a year and half and it's been great until recently. Within the last 3 visits my dog has come back injured twice. The first time he came home with an abrasion on his cornea and the second he had a huge gash in his ear. Both times I asked Metro Dog if anything happened and they said they didn't notice anything.""\r

This place is no longer safe for our dog. Please watch out.
