I just moved to Los Angeles from Chicago in October. I have been doing Pilates for 2 years and looking for a studio to continue my sessions. I found Pilates Westwood and a teacher named Daniela who teaches ""classical Pilates"". My workouts are intense and fun without putting any stress on my joints especially my low back. I have a herniated disc at L4-L5 and have found Pilates has made me strong enough to not have pain in my back. The key, I am told, is making the low deep abdominals strong. Whatever it does it works! My physical therapist is truly impressed with my progress and also plans to take a session at the studio. Try this!!!
