There's no doubt this is the best in the Skaneateles area - and it's not just the wonderful French food. Host/owner Alain is unlike any other - a true gentleman, always at the door to welcome you into his ""home"", and treating the newcomer (as well as the oft returning guest) as if they are the most important person in the world. It doesn't matter whether our friends are neighbors two doors down or company from out-of-state. They are always treated to Joelle's for a true dining experience. Joelle herself always manages to pull herself away from the busy kitchen of savory meals and to-die-for desserts to come out and say ""hello"" to her guests.
