I bid on a photo sitting through a United Way auction. Made sure that I called ahead of time to get the normal sitting fee price since I did not have a computer at the time to do research about the studio. I guess that should have been the first tip off. It was over $100 for a regular sitting fee. Well, I won the bid. Set the appointment for a Saturday and we were told to bring/wear white shirts, black shirts, dark pants, and jeans with appropriate footwear. The sitting went OK. Other than some of the awkward positions that we were posed in that our older bodies did not like, the pictures did come out nice. It was nice to be able to view them immediately after the shoot - BUT then the shocker! The prices of the prints!!! WOW!!! 11x14 almost $450 and that is for only 1 print and not framed!!! I spoke to a friend of mine about it and found out, after the fact, that this has happened to numerous people. Yes, the man has talent. But so do many other photographers in town that do not rake you over the coals for your prints! But I guess that is why they call it ""Live and Learn!"" I won't make that mistake again!!!
Pros: Willing to take pictures of you with your pets.
Cons: Prices of Pictures
