It's the freshest, and unless you resort to something like Iron Sushi, it's also the cheapest sushi in town by a long shot. He gets special deliveries twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday I think) and those are great days to ask what he might have as a treat. His battera (box mackerel), is one of my personal favorites and something that most places in town don't carry. The sushi salad at under three bucks is a steal. I've been lucky enough to have monk fish liver a couple times plus he has the freshest uni in town.
Pros: Best sushi in town
Cons: not a place for a fancy dinner -a nice lunch spot (not really a con)
