I ate here back in 2003 or so and truthfully the food was jusk ok... the decor was even less impressive... HOWEVER they changed owners, and from a great review from a trustworthy ""foodie"" we tried Kyoto again. The food is GREAT! Always very fresh fish. . . Love the special rolls. Pink Lady and Sweetheart rolls are our favorites! Baked Green Mussels are also very tasty. We go there at least once a week for dinner now. The wait staff really takes care of us... from our second visit they remembered us and what we liked! Very personable!!!! I highly recommend this as the best sushi restaurant in the local area of the west suburbs... especially compared the the sushi chains like RA Sushi in the area!!! (As to comment on the price... it is very typical for all sushi in this area and the midwest).
