I have been consuming malasadas from Leonard's probably since I began eating table food. It helped that my Grandma's house in Kahala was a short drive away, and when we spent time with Grandma (which was often), she'd take us to Leonard's after dinner sometimes for fresh malasadas. The sweet bread is also delicious and the coffee cakes as well. Sunday breakfast at Grandma's was never complete without a cheese coffee cake from Leonard's. Most of my childhood birthday cakes came from Leonard's too. When I go home to Hawaii, a stop by Leonard's is a must. I love that the pink interior is the same as it was since I was in preschool! Visits to Leonard's always bring back fond memories.
Pros: The malasadas and pretty much all of their baked goods.
