We have been seeing Dr. Duguid for a couple years and introduced our children to the dentist at age 2. he is just great with them! For the first visit, he offers a "chair ride" and tells them about all the things in the dentists office. Talks about the tools, the lights, the water sucker and squirter. he even let them squirt the water. If the child is comfortable enough, he asks if he can count their teeth. At the end, he gives them a prize from the toy chest. At the next appointment, he goes through the same things but asks if he can use the "special toothbrush" on them this time. My children were both sold at the offering of bubble gum flavored toothpaste! All in all, a great experience and no fear of going to the dentist!
