I met Dr. Thanos while attending my niece's delivery. I am a labor and delivery nurse myself and I was appalled at his lack of bedside manner and "higher than thou" attitude he presented to all around. He actually refused to give her lidocaine while repairing her episiotomy stating that he only had a few more stitches and told her she was not feeling any pain! He was cold and disliked my every single nurse in the hospital--they even warned us to not let him use the vacuum to rush the delivery. He has a reputation for rushing the delivery for his own convenience. Such as joyous event was ruined by his presence. I will warn all to stay away from him and look for a more competent and compassionate person. Afterall, we want a doctor who heals not hurts.
